COCONUT TO GO

BRAND IDENTITY, PACKAGING & eCOMMERCE WEBSITE

This was an extensive project I designed working at InHouse Design. The client came to us with an idea for a product/company that she was starting, revolving around a coconut-based flavor enhancer, targeted towards a health-conscious audience with potential dietary restrictions. What made the product unique was the focus on convenience and "on-the-go" packaging.

The first part of the project was creating a look and feel that was active and engaging. I designed the logo using light, modern type, while italicizing "to go" to achieve this effect. I also created a bright and energetic color palette to appeal to an active target audience, and to accommodate for growth, and a variety of flavors in the future.

I designed the packaging for three varieties; original, cacao and ceylon cinnamon. The packaging is a sleeve, which slides onto a re-usable tin canister, which holds ten "to go" packets of the product. I also created stickers for each of the interior packets to distinguish between the flavors.

Once the identity and packaging were complete, the products were ready for sale. This led to the last part of the project; designing an ecommerce website for Coconut To Go. I designed the site with the focus of maintaining simplicity, while highlighting the products and their benefits. The site was built on the WordPress platform by our Web Specialist and uses the FoxyCart platform to facilitate the shopping cart.
