HAWK ON THE BOARDWALK

This is another still life drawing with an imagined background done in colored pencil. The still focuses on a pair of boat shoes and their intricate laces, covered by a retro Seahawks snapback. The original Seahawks logo, inspired by a northwest Indian mask, is an excellent mark with beautiful colors, which can be perfectly encompassed by the scene of a waterfront. The objects rest on the rigid planks of a boardwalk running along the empty beach.
